The 2025 Coates Talent League Girls Grand Final will be played between the Eastern Ranges and Dandenong Stingrays, with both sides looking for their first premiership win.

It will be the Ranges’ third-successive Grand Final appearance, having lost to the Oakleigh Chargers in the past two deciders. The Ranges went down by 18 points last year, after falling by seven points in 2023.

Dandenong last featured in the Grand Final in 2022, which it lost to the Western Jets by six points after conceding a goal with the final kick of the match.

The Eastern Ranges finished the 2025 home and away season atop the ladder with an 11-3 win-loss record. They scored an 84-point win over the Northern Knights in the quarter final, before defeating the Murray Bushrangers by 64 points in the preliminary final.

The Dandenong Stingrays finished third on the ladder with a 10-4 record. They advanced to the premiership decider by defeating the Geelong Falcons by 58 points in the quarter final before beating two-time reigning premiers the Oakleigh Chargers by 41 points in the preliminary final.

The Coates Talent League Boys Grand Final between the Eastern Ranges and Sandringham Dragons will follow at 1:00pm.

25. Briannan Lambe: A powerful forward that has kicked multiple goals during 2025. Bri will demonstrate her strong aerial presence, tackle pressure and kicking power.

27. Zoe-Grace WillIs: A strong competitor who doesn’t lose a 1v1. Zoe will showcase her strength in the contest while also driving her legs to take the game on.

29. Ellie Busch: An outstanding competitor that has played multiple positions forward and down back. Ellie’s weapons include her aerial - taking multiple intercept marks, tackle pressure and decision making by foot and hand.

31. Isabelle Creaton: An exciting player that provides strong defensive and offensive attributes. Izzy loves to lay big tackles and doesn’t lose 1v1’s. You will see her breaking lines to showcase her speed out of defence.

34. Mathilde Wilkinson: An athletic player with speed and genuine x-factor. Mathilde can break games open with her ability to win the ball at ground level driving her legs out to space, marking strongly overhead and showcasing her forward craft around goals.

35. Brylee Anderson: A true ball winner that wins clearance with first possession to explode away from contest. Has strong aerial attributes to play in multiple positions whilst also demonstrating her competitiveness to lay big tackles.

1. Evelyn Connolly: Versatile, Competitive Powerful key forward, strong Footy IQ – Hits the scoreboard and drives the energy – loves a celebration!

2. Molly Reimers: Versatile Wing/Key Forward – Shows great aerial presence, covers the ground well and a real competitor – a really team first player.

3. Nikita Harris: Fierce competitor, tough and hard nosed, selflessly plays a role to help the team. Plays both inside and outside mid, powerful drive from contest and relentless with tackle pressure.

5. Mizuki Brothwell: Hard running half back, reads the ball in the air really well, clean on the ground and has developed a neat kick out of defence. Incredibly positive and drives energy amongst the group.

9. Nalu Brothwell: A classy high forward who can play tall and small. Nalu has great presence on the ground and in the air. Works relentlessly to put pressure on the opposition, and provide an outlet in transition and another who loves a goal!

10. Matilda Argus: A hard running, ultra competitive left footer with great footy IQ. Works defensively as hard as she does in attack and gives great drive with her kicking.

11. Scarlett Marsh: Smart, composed classy medium defender with strong kicking and decision making from D50 – loves a pre-game boogie to S&M by Rhianna.
