The AFL has today announced that more fans than ever will be able to enjoy the AFL Gather Round action with the addition of two new grandstands to increase general admission capacity for the matches at Barossa Park next week.

With a final limited release of tickets going on sale across all nine matches at Adelaide Oval, Barossa Park and Norwood Oval today, the AFL has confirmed Barossa Park will be bigger and better than its sold out debut last year, with an extra 2,000 tickets to each match available, as well as a revamped food and beverage space.

Fans heading to the games and those who are looking to revel in the Festival of Footy in the Barossa will be able to experience an elevated fan zone on the adjacent oval including a Ferris Wheel, family friendly activities, food and beverage offerings and a live site to tune into all the action on screen.

AFL CEO Andrew Dillon said:

"We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve the experience for fans at Gather Round and 2026 is no exception.

"We are really pleased to be increasing the capacity at Barossa Park this year to more than 12,000 per match so more fans can have the opportunity to experience Gather Round at its finest.

"The demand this year has been extremely strong, so I encourage fans to get in quick to snap up the last tickets to one of the best weeks in football," Dillon said.

Premier of South Australia Peter Malinauskas said:

"We’re thrilled that thousands more fans from around the country will be able to experience Gather Round this year. We know these extra tickets will be hot property.

"We’re especially pleased there will be additional capacity to catch a game at Barossa Park.

"This means that more visitors will get to experience everything great that South Australia, including the amazing Barossa, has to offer."
