THE THIRD season of the NAB AFL Women's competition starts this weekend, with the eight foundation teams joined by Geelong and North Melbourne in a nine-week fixture that includes preliminary finals.

The Sunday action starts in Tasmania, when the Kangaroos welcome Carlton at North Hobart Oval from 1.05pm AEDT. 

Melbourne faces Fremantle at Casey Fields from 3.05pm AEDT, with the round concluding in Queensland, when Brisbane meets Greater Western Sydney at Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex at 4.05pm AEST.
