HE'S BACK! The second most expensive player available in the game returns after sitting out the last five weeks. And now, Josh Kelly is a unique option.

Before his calf injury, Kelly was running hot with a five-game average of 119 and after he plays the Bulldogs this week, he'll meet the Suns in what promises to be a juicy match-up in the final round.

As far as downgrades targets go, Kade Chandler (MID, $170,000) is the only guaranteed player to debut for the Demons. We have some other options in extended Sunday squads, but we won’t know their final selection details until 5pm Friday.

ALL THE TEAMS Check 'em out

The Crows have bought back Reilly O’Brien to join Sam Jacobs as they battle the newly crowned ruck pig, Brodie Grundy. Grundy has been sensational in 2019 averaging 122 and despite being tag-teamed this week in Adelaide, some of his huge scores have occurred in games away from the MCG.

Dustin Martin returns for the Tigers after resting in round 21, and in the good news story for the week, Jarryd Roughead has been selected to take on the Gold Coast Suns at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Toby Greene (FWD, $767,000)
The star Giant did it again, now registering back to back scores over 140. His ownership is still only 11 per cent and its worth looking forward to the round 23 Grand Final against Gold Coast.

Matt Crouch (MID, $709,000)
After a disappointing five-week stretch where he only scored triple figures on one occasion, it looked like the stars season was a flop. He has 126 and 151 since.

Jarryd Lyons (MID, $746,000)
The new Lyon is averaging 120 in his last five games on the back of a round-high 158 against the Suns. He hasn’t scored under 90 in eight weeks and is owned by just one per cent.

Luke Parker (MID, $658,000)
The star Swan was in outstanding form a few weeks ago but that has dried up with an average of just 81 in his last three weeks. He has a breakeven of 137.

Darcy MacPherson (FWD, $601,000)
After an amazing season, D-Mac has unfortunately dropped right off to average just 64 in his last three games. With a breakeven of 134 he needs to go.

Tom Stewart (DEF, $613,000)
If you are chasing points, it is worth considering trading out the gun defender. His three-game average is 10 points below what he is averaging for the season and he is coming up against the Lions at the Den and they are notorious for making it difficult to score as a backman.

Calvin’s Captains

No.1 – Max Gawn v Sydney @ the MCG
Gawn is up against the Sydney combo of Aliir Aliir and Hayden McLean so we should all be expecting big things on Friday night. Last week, Paddy Ryder (87pts, 27 hitouts) and Peter Ladhams (100pts, 19 hitouts) dominated the duo, which paints a very nice picture for Gawn. In round 20, Shane Mumford (102pts) had one of his best games for the year and there is no reason that Gawn won’t have his second 140+ game right here.

No. 2 – Adam Treloar v Adelaide @ Adelaide Oval
In Treloar’s last three games against the Crows he has scored 135, 119 and 121. He averages 120 in games away from the MCG this year and sits at No.5 ranked on form averaging 121 in his last three games.

No. 3 – Zach Merrett v Fremantle @ Optus Stadium
Fremantle are one of Merrett’s favourite teams to score against after posting 125 earlier this year. He’s coming off a huge 141 and is now averaging 119 in his last five games. This man is running hot.

No. 4 – Brodie Grundy v Adelaide @ Adelaide Oval
Max will be good, but this year Gawn has only gone over 140+ once, compared to Grundy’s seven. Grundy has a higher ceiling, but he is up against the tough combo of O’Brien and Jacobs. He’ll still go 120+!

No. 5 – Toby Greene v Bulldogs @ Giants Stadium
Greene has now averaged 135 in his last five games and is coming off back to back 140+ scores. Based on form alone, he needs to be in the top five. However, the Dogs have been one of the toughest teams to score against this year, only conceding 9x100+ scores to opposition midfielders since the bye rounds, compared to Geelong’s 19.
