7th Intake Athlete Profiles - No. 21 James Kendall
James played games 1 & 2 of the International Rules Youth series in the BP/HBF rotation. In this defensive role he read the play very well which often had him leading his opponent to the ball and giving Australia an attacking rebound. James has very sound defensive skills (spoiling), good depth in his long kicking and is now working to improve his marking overhead.
James is too young for the 2004 AFL draft and will continue his development with his WAFL club East Perth.
