Fans can enjoy reliving some of their favourite football moments on the hallowed turf at some of the game’s biggest stadiums, with the return of the Macca’s Kick 2 Kick program for the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
The nation’s much-loved program will commence at select stadiums across Australia for the Opening Round of the men’s season, including Metricon Stadium and GIANTS Stadium, while the Gabba, MCG, Marvel Stadium and University of Tasmania Stadium will hold Macca’s Kick 2 Kick at select games during the first month of football.
More than 6.5 million fans have enjoyed the treasured post-match ritual of kicking a football on-field since the partnership between the AFL and McDonald’s was first established in 2014.
AFL Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial Kylie Rogers said the Macca’s Kick 2 Kick program provided a unique chance for fans to connect with our game.
“We’re thrilled to welcome back the Macca’s Kick 2 Kick program this season, which will provide fans young and old with a unique opportunity to experience our game on the hallowed turf at venues across the country,” Ms Rogers said.
“There’s nothing better than running out onto the field and having a kick to kick with your friends and family, so I’d encourage all fans to get involved in the Macca’s Kick 2 Kick program and create your own memorable footy moments.
“I’d like to thank McDonald’s for its longstanding support of this initiative and look forward to seeing thousands of fans enjoy the Macca’s Kick 2 Kick program throughout the season.”
