The Victorian-based VFL standalone clubs will take part in a triple header of action at Frankston’s Kinetic Stadium this Saturday, March 2.

The second annual practice match carnival will again see Coburg, Frankston, Port Melbourne, Northern Bullants, Werribee and Williamstown feature across an action-packed day as preparations ramp up for the 2024 Smithy’s VFL season.

Entry will be FREE, with fans from all clubs encouraged to get along for a huge day of football.

The match schedule is as follows:

10:45am – Williamstown vs Port Melbourne
1:15pm – Frankston vs Northern Bullants
3:45pm – Werribee vs Coburg

The game length for all three matches will be 23-minute quarters with no time-on.

2024 club memberships will be on sale, along with club merchandise to help supporters get decked out for the season ahead. A range of food and beverage offerings will also be available.

AFL Head of State League Competitions, Jennie Loughnan, said: “We are pleased to again have the Victorian standalone clubs in action on the same day in what is becoming one of the most enjoyable days on the VFL calendar as we ramp up towards the 2024 season.

“We really encourage fans from all clubs to head along for a great day of action at Kinetic Stadium and to show their support of their club by buying a membership for what is shaping as an exciting season across the Smithy’s VFL.”
