Smithy's VFL State Team coach Zane Littlejohn is the special guest on this week's episode of State of Play.

From a Smithy's VFL perspective, all roads lead to Glenelg's Stratarama Stadium this week where one of the greatest Australian football traditions returns when the VFL takes on the SANFL in the AAMI State Game.

Littlejohn joins Joe and Gemma to discuss all things rep football ahead of the VFL's first representative game since 2017, and the first clash between the VFL and SANFL since 2016, reigniting a rivalry dating back to the late 1800s.

Joe and Gemma also review all the Round 2 action across the Smithy's VFL and rebel VFLW, and look ahead to what is a Super Saturday on the rebel VFLW calendar in Round 3, where seven matches will be played, highlighted by the inclusion of the GWS Giants and Sydney Swans for the first of their five matches.
