The rebel VFLW teams for Round 10.
Casey Demons have named Melbourne AFLW premiership players Tayla Harris, Eden Zanker, Megan Fitzsimon, Alyssa Bannan and Shelley Heath for their clash with Essendon at Windy Hill.
The winless Demons have made a whopping 14 changes to the side that went down to Box Hill Hawks last week, with the premiership quintet among 10 AFLW players brought into the team, although eight AFLW-listed players go out.
Essendon regains Christina Bernardi following a two-match layoff as it looks to break a three-game losing streak but loses Sophie Molan and Jayda Richardson to foot injuries. Molan should return next week, but Richardson is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the campaign.
North Melbourne-Werribee regains premiership forward Tahlia Meier for its trip to DSV Stadium to take on an unchanged Williamstown after she was part of the Australian Indigenous Cricket Team's tour to Papua New Guinea. Both sides take a 7-2 record into the game, where the winner will take a big step towards a top-two finish.
Collingwood will be bolstered by the return Jordan Ivey for its top-six battle against second-placed Box Hill Hawks at Box Hill City Oval. It will be Ivey’s first game since sustaining an ankle injury in the Round 4 loss to Darebin.
Box Hill Hawks have made three changes, including young guns Emma Juneja and Abbey Vicino for their club debut, and also recalling Amelia Prosser-Shaw.
Darebin has been hit by injury for its clash with Sandringham at Genis Steel Oval. The Falcons have made five changes, with co-captain Cailtin Bunker (head) and Olivia Storer (finger) among the outs, with the latter to miss the remainder of the season.
The Zebras have included former St Kilda AFLW player Beth Pinchin for her first game for the club. Pinchin has endured a horror run with knee injuries and will play her first VFLW game since playing for the Western Bulldogs in Round 10, 2021.
Western Bulldogs have lost skipper Stephanie Asiak to an elbow injury for their clash with Geelong at Deakin University, while premiership forward Emily Harley will play her first game of the season when Port Melbourne takes on Carlton at IKON Park.
BROADCAST AND STREAMING: All matches in the 2025 rebel VFLW season will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
