The Smithy’s VFL teams for Round 8.
Hayden McLean will play his sixth VFL game of the season when Sydney Swans host Collingwood at Tramway Oval on Friday afternoon.
McLean has kicked 15 goals in his five appearances this year and returns for the Swans among two changes.
Ed Allan, Wil Parker and Charlie West have all been elevated to Collingwood’s AFL team for their clash with the Swans on Friday night, while Bobby Hill has been managed.
Magpies VFL skipper Brady Grey returns having missed last week’s heavy defeat to Geelong.
Ladder-leader Geelong has included Rhys Stanley and Jack Bowes for its clash with the Brisbane Lions at Brighton Homes Arena. Gryan Miers has made an immediate return to the AFL team and Nathan Kreuger has been managed.
The injury hit Lions lose three AFL-listed players, including promoted midfielder Sam Marshall, with Irish recruit Ben Murphy the only AFL-listed player coming into the side.
Teams for all remaining Round 8 matches will be announced on Friday.
