WEST Coast premiership player Jamie Cripps has announced his retirement.

The 34-year-old has played 277 games in a career that started at St Kilda in 2010, but blossomed in his home state.

Cripps finishes his career with 339 goals, including 38 in the club's premiership season in 2018.

WHO'S CALLED IT QUITS 2026's retirements and delistings

"It's been an awesome 14 years and a privilege to play for a great Club like West Coast," Cripps, who is currently nursing a knee injury, said.

"To play so long and play with some amazing players along the way as well, it's just been such a fun ride.

"My family make me tick and they're who I do it for, so to have their support over the years has been massive.

"Now I'm ready for my knee to start feeling better so I can run around with the kids and see what their journey might be, which I’m looking forward to."

His retirement means there are now as many 2018 premiership Eagles at West Coast (Elliot Yeo, Tom Cole and Liam Duggan) as there are at other clubs (Jack Darling, Tom Barrass and Liam Ryan).
