An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join the Western Bulldogs on a 10 month Maternity Leave contract. We are one of the 18 clubs of the Australian Football League (AFL) and situated in the fastest growing region of Australia.

This position will be responsible for providing organisational development, human resource advice and guidance to our growing workforce.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Managing all aspects of the HR function including recruitment, induction and general employment contract administration;
  • Providing HR advice and coaching to managers;
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant workplace laws, regulations and awards;
  • Embedding our leadership and cultural program across the whole organisation;
  • Developing and updating HR policies and procedures;
  • Working with managers and staff to identify training and development needs and find suitable solutions; and
  • Managing HR projects as required
To be considered for this role you must hold the relevant tertiary qualification and have a minimum five years’ experience in Human Resources. It is also expected that you will have solid understanding of legislation and awards and proven capacity to improve HR systems, processes and procedures.
