GREATER Western Sydney midfielder Jackson Hately has informed the club of his desire to be traded to Adelaide.

Hately will be the third Giant to leave, with Zac Williams and Aidan Corr previously stating their intentions to find new homes through free agency.

"Jackson has informed the club of his hope to return to South Australia, so we will now investigate trade options with a view to getting the best possible outcome for the Giants," GWS' general manager of football Jason McCartney said on the club's website.

The Giants used pick No.14 to draft Hately as a midfielder from South Australia back in 2018 and he has played 13 games since arriving at the club.

Harry Perryman, Isaac Cumming and Jeremy Finlayson have all put pen to paper with the Giants recently, but Jeremy Cameron, Jye Caldwell and Xavier O'Halloran all remain out of contract.
