At the school visits the players spoke at assemblies and in classrooms, discussing their pathway from junior footy to becoming an elite athlete and some of the challenges they have had along the way.
They also talked about making healthy lifestyle choices, including the importance of eating and sleeping well, being physically active, and not smoking.
On Monday a selected group of players including Nick Salter, originally from Clare, attended a civic reception at the Clare council chambers and thrilled patients at the Clare Hospital.
In the afternoon the club hosted an Auskick clinic at Clare Oval Community Sports Centre and the coaching staff led a session with the WWTFC local football talent squad.
In the evening the players signed autographs for over 100 children and hosted a coaches forum, which was attended by more than 20 people.
A community dinner on Monday evening attracted over 270 guests with an auction raising an estimated $4500 which will go back to local grassroots footy.
