THE 50-match milestones kept coming in Round 12 of the rebel VFLW’s sixth season last weekend, with five more players from three clubs celebrating with their teammates.

North Melbourne captain Molly Eastman, who will join the Sydney Swans for the start of the next AFLW season in August, reached 50 matches at her third club after also playing for Darebin and Melbourne University, marking the milestone alongside teammate Annabel Scott, who crossed to the Kangaroos from the Western Bulldogs this year.

Southern Saints pair Georgia McLean and Ebony Nixon also played their 50th games against Carlton, with both now at their third clubs – and it would have been a triple treat, but Olivia Flanagan was a late withdrawal.

Essendon’s inaugural VFLW captain Courtney Ugle has been a loyal Bomber since the team came into the competition, making her 50th appearance in just the club’s 57th overall match.

There were plenty of team milestones and records set in Round 12, all of which are detailed below, with the biggest being Casey Demon Emma Horne breaking through for her first goal in her 25th match.

Collingwood and Geelong will each attempt to join Darebin as VFLW teams to win 50 matches in the history of the competition when they take on Port Melbourne and Williamstown respectively.
