SYDNEY and Richmond have named three debutants between them for Friday afternoon’s Smithy’s VFL finals shaping contest at Sydney’s Lakeside Oval.

The Swans have included Academy graduate Jordan Endemann, who hails from Dane Rampe’s club UNSW-Eastern Suburbs, while Richmond have handed opportunities to Greensborough key position player Tom Brindley and classy defender Lachie Carrigan, who impressed in this month’s Colgate Young Guns fixtures after being plucked out of Southern League club Hampton Rovers after previously playing for Sandringham Dragons.

Sydney plays its 250th home match across the VFA/VFL and NEAFL competitions, but it is the first time the two teams have clashed at State league level in almost 126 years.
