Darebin co-captains Steph Simpson and Caitlin Bunker and Northern Bullants coach Rohan Welsh join State of Play following breakthrough wins at the weekend.

In a remarkable day at Genis Steel Oval on Saturday, Darebin downed Carlton by 25 points to secure its first rebel VFLW victory in 770 days.

The performance was followed by another drought-breaking result, with the Northern Bullants coming from 28 points down during the final term to beat Collingwood and claim its first victory since Round 8 last year.
