Steve Daniel is the special guest on State of Play following his 100th game as Southport Sharks coach, while Gemma and Joe rank their top seeds in the rebel VFLW with two rounds to go in the home and away season.

The Sharks' celebrated Daniel's milestone match in style, down Williamstown by 45 points to record their fifth win in succession to move into fourth place on the Smithy's VFL ladder.

Daniel jumps on the line to discuss his season's improved form line this year, following a difficult 2023 where the Sharks failed to make the finals following their Grand Final appearance in 2022.

He also opens up about his football journey and the adversity that led to him taking on a career in coaching.

Gemma and Joe also take a deep dive into the weekend's rebel VFLW action, which keep the finals race wide open with heading into the final fortnight of the regular season.
