The players hit the track on Wednesday for skills, but won't be back on Aegis Park again until Monday.
In his post-match press conference following the loss to the Hawks, coach Brad Scott pointed to the bye as a blessing in disguise, expecting his players to return hungrier than ever.
"We've got a really great opportunity. We can really rejuvenate, refresh and work on some things we need to work on," Scott said.
"We've got three games we are going to make an absolute assault on."
VFL affiliate Werribee will also enjoy a rest with its final bye of the season, while the Roosters are coming off a break.
Luke Delaney, Ed Lower, Marcus White, Aaron Mullett and Aaron Black are all likely starters for the reigning premier.
Scott believes the chance to re-energize gives his team the best possible chance leading in to September.
"We play sides that we'll expect to beat. If we do that, we hold up our end of the bargain, the result whichever way it falls will be probably where we deserve to finish at the end of the year."
