Midfielder Billy Dowling continued his hot run of form with 34 touches, nine clearances, 12 inside-50s and two goals in Adelaide’s heartbreaking one-point SANFL loss to Central District.

Several other senior-listed Crows put on strong showings, with Luke Nankervis amassing 25 touches and Sid Draper 24 to go with four inside-50s.

Lachie Sholl was busy with 22 touches and 13 marks, while last week’s senior sub Chayce Jones had 16 disposals, five clearances, seven tackles and kicked a goal.

In his 100th SANFL game for the Crows, Kieran Strachan dominated in the ruck with 39 hitouts, supported by Toby Murray who finished with nine clearances and 12 disposals while playing predominantly forward.

Untried defender Charlie Edwards had 22 touches, while James Borlase had 12 touches and took seven marks.

Small forward Karl Gallagher kicked a goal from 10 touches, while Brayden Cook also managed a goal from 12 disposals.

Matt Crouch was listed to play but was withdrawn due to hip soreness before the bounce.

Brisbane Academy prospect Daniel Annable starred in Sunday's draw with Frankston at Kinetic Stadium.

Rated a top-five prospect in this year's Telstra AFL Draft, Annable had 25 disposals, eight clearances and seven tackles for the Lions.

Deven Robertson was busy with 25 disposals, seven clearances and seven tackles, while Brandon Ryan kicked 3.2 from 10 touches.

Luke Lloyd (15 disposals and 11 marks) found plenty of the ball and ruck Oscar McInerney (16 and 23 hitouts) was solid.

Henry Smith kicked one goal, Luke Beecken booted one from 14 disposals just days after his AFL debut and Will McLachlan kicked 1.1 from nine touches.

Cooper Hodge, who is part of the Brisbane Academy and is the son of Hawthorn great Luke, kicked two goals. He is eligible for the draft next year.

Carlton endured a tough end to its season, going down by 115 points to Footscray in their final-round clash. 

Defender Jordan Boyd was one of the Blues' standouts, finishing with 27 disposals, five marks and four tackles, while rookie Harry Charleson collected 24 disposals to go with three marks and three tackles.

Elijah Hollands added a goal while gathering 20 disposals and three clearances.

Young midfielder Lucas Camporeale (19 disposals, four marks), Orazio Fantasia (16 disposals, five tackles) and Jaxon Binns (11, five marks) were all busy.

Harry Lemmey (15 hitouts, five disposals), Alex Cincotta (five disposals, six tackles), Matt Duffy (six disposals) and Rob Monahan (seven) were other AFL-listed Blues in action.

Mid-season draft selections Noah Howes and Roan Steele continued their impressive form but it wasn't enough as the Pies fell in the final home and away match of the season.

Steele had a massive day with 32 disposals (including 22 kicks), one goal, nine marks and two tackles, while Howes added three majors from 12 touches.

Premiership stars Tom Mitchell (17 disposals, eight tackles, six clearances) and Will Hoskin-Elliott (12 disposals, one goal, four tackles) put in solid displays, with big man Mason Cox dominating with 19 disposals, one goal, eight marks and 28 hitouts.

Youngster Fin Macrae had 29 touches and five tackles, with Charlie Dean (16), Harry DeMattia (14) and Joel Cochran (14) also in the action.

Will Hayes gathered 13 disposals and Oscar Steene had 11.

Youngster Zak Johnson starred as potential No.1 pick Cooper Duff-Tytler also caught the eye in Essendon's 61-point win over Sandringham on Saturday.

Johnson, who has played eight AFL games this year, had 22 disposals and kicked two goals at Trevor Barker Beach Oval.

Duff-Tytler made an impression on his VFL debut with 11 disposals, six hitouts and three goals.

Young Bombers ruck Vigo Visentini was strong with 12 disposals and 48 hitouts.

Kayle Gerreyn (19 disposals and nine marks) and Alwyn Davey jnr (20 disposals) were also busy.

Archer Day-Wicks kicked one major from eight disposals and Oskar Smartt also booted a goal from his 10 touches.

Isaiah Dudley responded to his axing from the senior side with a strong performance in Peel's 57-point win over Subiaco on Saturday.

The small forward had 16 disposals and kicked 3.2 in the win.

Jeremy Sharp found plenty of the ball with 25 disposals, 10 marks and a goal, while Jack Delean booted three majors.

Oscar McDonald (22 disposals and 13 marks) was busy and Liam Reidy dominated in the ruck with 19 disposals and 41 hitouts.

Hugh Davies (18 disposals and nine marks), Cooper Simpson (14), Brandon Walker (13) and Josh Draper (13) were also solid.

Tall teenager Jacob Molier showed his wares in front of goal for Geelong, kicking three goals from 17 disposals and 10 marks in the Cats' 45-point win over Sydney on Sunday afternoon.

The 201cm South Australian was taken with the 52nd selection at last year’s draft and is already looking like an exciting long-term prospect at Kardinia Park.

Fellow 2024 draftee Jay Polkinghorne (11 disposals, six marks) also kicked three goals.

Rookie Ted Clohesy did scoreboard damage of his own with two goals from 26 touches, along with eight marks and six tackles.

Joe Pike (six disposals, 11 hitouts) and Ollie Henry (15 disposals) also came away with two goals each.

Veteran pair Jake Kolodjashnij (13 touches) and Cam Guthrie (eight) both continued to find game time and could offer valuable experience for the seniors come finals.

Jhye Clark responded well to being dropped from the AFL side finishing with 29 touches, George Stevens was the Cats' busiest with 30 and seven clearances, and Mitch Duncan had 21 disposals, eight marks and one goal.

Young ruck Mitchell Edwards had a game-high 10 clearances to go with 20 disposals and 21 hitouts.

Mitch Knevitt returned to the reserves and found a bit of the ball with 19 touches and five clearances, Patrick Retschko finished with 14 disposals and seven marks, and fellow rookie Xavier Ivisic had 18 touches and a goal.

Other senior Cats in action included Ollie Wiltshire (eight disposals), Cillian Burke (seven) and Keighton Matofai-Forbes (four).

Jed Walter and Lachlan Gulbin combined for seven goals in Gold Coast's 30-point win over Greater Western Sydney on Saturday.

Walter (three goals) and Gulbin (four) led the way up forward in the Suns' big victory.

Young ruck Ned Moyle had a huge game with 22 disposals, 46 hitouts, eight clearances and five tackles.

Tom Berry was comfortably the leading disposal winner on the ground with 42, to go with seven tackles and five clearances.

Leo Lombard also played a starring role with 25 disposals and a goal.

Untried Harrison Oliver racked up 34 disposals as the Giants fell to the Suns in a high-stakes clash.

Oliver, taken with pick No.19 in last year's AFL Draft, also took seven marks and laid four tackles in a strong performance.

James Leake was solid with 23 disposals and a goal as he looks to work his way back into the senior team, while Josh Fahey (22 disposals) and Jacob Wehr (17) were also strong contributors.

Ruck Nick Madden continued his good VFL form with 16 touches and 17 hitouts.

Josaia Delana (14), Lachie Keeffe (seven) and Logan Smith (seven and a goal) were other AFL-listed players in action.

Sam Butler impressed as Box Hill suffered a 23-point loss to Casey on Sunday.

Butler had 25 disposals, 10 marks and kicked a goal in the Hawks' defeat at Casey Fields.

Ned Reeves worked hard against the Demons' ruck duo and finished with 18 disposals, 34 hitouts and six clearances.

Jai Serong (24 disposals), Seamus Mitchell (22 and nine marks) and Henry Hustwaite (24 and eight clearances) were also good.

The Hawks' best forward was Jasper Scaife, who booted three goals from seven disposals.

William McCabe (13 disposals and a goal), Bodie Ryan (17), Sam Frost (13) and Bailey Macdonald (17) were also solid.

Casey took a big scalp in its final home and away match of the season, trumping Box Hill by 23 points to lock in a finals spot.

Jack Billings (40 disposals, seven marks, six tackles, five clearances, one goal) and Bailey Laurie (23 disposals, seven tackles, four clearances, one goal) were relentless through the middle, and young forward Luker Kentfield provided a major spark in attack, kicking a game-high three goals from his six touches.

Youngsters Koltyn Tholstrup (24 disposals, seven clearances, six tackles) and Kynan Brown (22 disposals) were in the thick of the action, while Jed Adams stood tall with 13 disposals and seven marks.

Charlie Spargo (23 disposals, four marks, four tackles), Ricky Mentha jnr (11 disposals), Aidan Johnson (eight) and Matt Jefferson (10) kicked a goal apiece, while Tom Fullarton (18 disposals, 10 marks) provided a strong presence up forward.

Veteran Tom Campbell dominated the stoppages, amassing 21 hitouts, 10 clearances and 19 disposals, with developing ruck Will Verrall contributing 12 hitouts and three tackles.

Midfielder Will Phillips was solid as North Melbourne fell to a 22-point loss to Southport on Saturday.

Phillips worked hard and finished with 15 disposals, eight tackles and five clearances in the defeat.

Eddie Ford was busy with 17 disposals and ruck Brynn Teakle had 14 touches and 15 hitouts.

Luke Urquhart (18 disposals), Robert Hansen jnr (16 and two goals) and Aidan Corr (14) were also in action.

Tall Finnbar Maley booted two goals, Wil Dawson had nine touches, River Stevens finished with 12 and Taylor Goad had seven to go with 13 hitouts and four clearances.

Mid-season draftee Ewan Mackinlay kicked three goals from 21 touches, and small forward Lachlan Charleson slotted two majors.

A long injury list saw only six senior-listed Tigers run out in Sunday’s 21-point loss to Williamstown.

Kaleb Smith was the busiest with 30 disposals, putting the defender in the frame for a recall for the final AFL game of the season against Geelong.

After a huge outing last week Jacob Koschitzke had a quieter day, finishing with nine disposals, six tackles and nine hitouts.

Developing rookie ruckman Oliver Hayes-Brown had 22 hitouts to go with 10 disposals and four clearances.

Defender Josh Gibcus’ return from injury continued with an 11-touch game, and it will be interesting to see if he is given a senior run.

Former Pie Taylor Adams was one of the Swans' best in their 45-point loss to Geelong on Sunday, racking up 23 disposals and a game-high nine tackles.

Corey Warner was Sydney's busiest with 36 disposals and seven clearances, Matt Roberts had plenty of ball with 30 touches, Riley Bice kicked one goal to go with 24 disposals and eight marks, and Caleb Mitchell had it 23 times and took nine marks.

Big utility Aaron Francis also took nine grabs and racked up a handy 22 disposals while helping out Will Green (24 hitouts, 10 touches) in the ruck.

Small forward Tom Hanily brought offensive pressure with seven tackles to complement 14 disposals and a goal, and Blake Leidler slotted two majors from his 12 touches.

Ned Bowman (14 disposals, seven marks) and Indhi Kirk (13 touches and six tackles) were the only other senior Swans in action.

Jack Williams kicked three goals as West Coast was edged by Swan Districts by five points on Saturday.

Williams booted 3.3 from 13 disposals and 13 marks in a strong performance.

Tyrell Dewar (24 disposals) was busy and Harvey Johnston also found plenty of the ball with 21 touches, while Harry Barnett booted three goals.

Lucca Grego (21 disposals), Jack Petruccelle (16 and a goal) and Callum Jamieson (15) were also good.

Loch Rawlinson gathered 12 disposals and kicked a goal and Coen Livingstone had 12 touches, 24 hitouts and booted a major.

Midfielder Adam Treloar has made a statement in his return game from a calf injury as Footscray finished its home and away season with a thumping 115-point win over Carlton to claim top spot on the ladder.

Treloar, who has managed just four AFL games this season amid an injury-ravaged run, was playing his first game since June but showed no signs of rust, racking up 40 disposals, 10 tackles, nine clearances and a goal.

Caleb Poulter was electric, kicking six goals to go with his 22 disposals, nine marks and two clearances, while Buku Khamis chimed in with three goals and seven marks from his 14 touches.

Youngster Lachie Jaques (15 disposals, six marks) booted two goals, with Arthur Jones (20 disposals, five marks), Luke Kennedy (nine, four) and Zac Walker (six, four) kicking one goal each.

Defenders Nick Coffield (32 disposals, seven marks, four tackles) and Taylor Duryea (29 disposals, 10 marks, three clearances) found plenty of the footy, while rookie Michael Sellwood impressed with 27 disposals and 10 marks.

Anthony Scott led all comers with 30 disposals, six marks, four clearances and capped it off with a goal of his own. 

Lachlan Smith (29 hitouts, eight clearances, six marks, 18 disposals) had a solid day in the ruck, while Ryan Gardner (20 disposals, nine marks) and Liam Jones (16 disposals, nine marks) also got among the action.
