The AFL is pleased to announce Australian dance-music group Sneaky Sound System will perform a FREE concert for fans at the 2022 Virgin Australia Footy Festival on Friday September 23.

Fans will be able to watch the ARIA award winning group on the Main Stage at Yarra Park outside the MCG at 12:30pm following the completion of the 2022 Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade.

Sneaky Sound System is one of several artists performing throughout the four-day 2022 Virgin Australia Footy Festival including September favourite Mike Brady, Superband, B.H.B, Unlimited and Emerald Sea.

Sneaky Sound System has produced a number of chart-topping hits including ‘UFO’, ‘Pictures’ and ‘I Love It’ which has seen them claim a host of music accolades including two ARIA Awards for Breakthrough Artist and Best Dance Release.

AFL Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial Kylie Rogers said there was no better way to spend the Victorian public holiday.

“The AFL is thrilled to have Sneaky Sound System perform at the 2022 Virgin Australia Footy Festival which is sure to get footy fans of all ages excited,” Ms Rogers said.

“Victoria has been starved of finals footy for the last few years, so we’re delighted to provide a FREE concert for fans to soak up the finals atmosphere on the eve of the 2022 Toyota AFL Grand Final.”

The 2022 Virgin Australia Footy Festival Live Site will be open from Wednesday September 21 and run until Saturday September 24 for Toyota AFL Grand Final Day.

The Live Site will feature a host of family-friendly activities including giveaways, player signings, kids activations, NAB AFL Auskick clinics, inflatables, food trucks, licensed bar, live music and more.
