FOOTBALL fans across the country can enjoy having a kick on the hallowed turf of some of the game’s biggest stadiums across Australia, with the return of Macca’s Kick 2 Kick throughout the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

With thousands of fans enjoying the Maccas Kick 2 Kick program during the 2022 NAB AFLW Season, the nation’s much-loved program will commence at select stadiums across the country for the Opening Round of the men’s season.

The return of the Macca’s Kick 2 Kick program is part of a 10-year partnership extension between the AFL and McDonald’s announced last year, marking the longest single corporate partner agreement in the AFL’s history.

First establishing the partnership in 2014, the Macca’s Kick 2 Kick program has seen more than 6.5 million footy fans enjoy the treasured ritual of kicking a football on-field post-match.  

AFL Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial Kylie Rogers said the Macca’s Kick 2 Kick initiative provides fans young and old with a unique opportunity to get involved in the sport.

“We’re delighted to welcome the return of Maccas Kick 2 Kick which will once again provide football fans with an opportunity to get closer to the game and relive some of their favourite football moments on grounds across Australia,” Ms. Rogers said.

“The support from McDonald’s to extend its partnership for a further 10 years and its work in bringing the Maccas Kick 2 Kick initiative to life each year demonstrates McDonald’s commitment to supporting football across all levels of our game.”

McDonald’s Australia Director of Marketing, Amanda Nakad, said McDonald’s was looking forward to seeing thousands of footy fans enjoy the Macca’s Kick 2 Kick experience this season.
