RICHMOND'S rebuild is set to continue at pace, with the Tigers holding two top-five picks in this year's Telstra AFL Draft, while Port Adelaide has loaded up for 2027.

The Tigers, who were one of the youngest lists this season, landed the prized No.5 pick from the Power on Deadline Day, giving up pick 22 and three selections next year.

It gives Richmond picks No.2 and No.5 this year, with a second-round compensation pick set to follow with Essendon seemingly set to bid on Port Academy prospect Dougie Cochrane at No.1.

With another Academy prospect, Zemes Pilot, and father-son Louis Salopek on the radar next year, the Power have loaded up for 12 months' time and they now hold three first-round picks in 2027.

The Bombers hold the No.1 pick and a total of three selections in the top 25, with a second-round pick set to come as compensation for their first pick dropping down the order due to a matched bid.

Melbourne also moved up the draft order in the mega deal and holds picks four and 14 heading into the draft, which will be held on November 19-20.

After reaching a preliminary final this year, Sydney has pick No.6 following Nick Blakey's move to North Melbourne.

Rowan Marshall's trade to Geelong leaves St Kilda with picks No.10 and No.16, while Carlton has picks 13 and 18 to use on father-son gun Cody Walker.
